#AFTER THOUGHTS

Recently im finding myself slipping into a kind of "black is good. i should wear black" phase.  but black so isn't me! it is so convenient and easy to wear but not fun! i've always loved my pastels and bright colours but have always struggled wearing them at winter time, minus the Ted Baker dress which i just had to slip in, all of these pieces are perfect winter wear garments but keeping the fun and flirt of summer.  definately need to get the polka dot denim shirt in my wardrobe before fashion week! im also loving these cowboy stlye ankle boots, i saw them in the newlook store earlier today and became quite attactched, hehe!  and i adore the chunky chain bracelt, it is so not my kind of thing but im in to trying new things atm to find a new sense of style.

New Look: Holiday Wants!

So my holiday is next week! yess next week!! it only feels like a couple of days ago i was telling you it was 2 months away! jeeeeze, how time flies ayy.  well i suppose for a change im kind of prepared for once, i have all my clothes sorted, just an going out bag and toiletries to get. phewwww! i've promised myself that im not going to take any heels so these beautiful wedges from New Look are out of the window!! but they're just sooooo pretty :(  however i do have a New Look Gift Card which i had for my birthday, and a 20% off voucher, so one of these bags and the hair band is total must!! i am obsessed with dipped hem at the moment, they're just soo easy to wear! and slot perfectly into my wardrobe...  so i get the absolute shit ripped out of me from the girls for this, but factor 50 sun block is an absolute necessity for me! i have ginger skin and it doesn't see the sun much, so casper needs protecting! protect and bronze is an absolute god send for me, i actually tan whilst using it!! woooo :) any of you have fair skin, and high factors are a must? it sucks, but better to be safe than sorry!

IM FINALLY 18!!!! 

I have had an amazing past few days celebrating my 18th birthday! with a family meal on Tuesday, celebrating my baby cousins 3rd birthday also, such a cutie! Apart from forgetting my ID for the meal, it was barely an issue when i had family and friends buying the drinks from all over the place :)  Of course you cannot let you 18th birthday pass without a night out in town! and being a Wednesday Revs was the place to be! I haven't had such a random night out in ages, but was definitely the least stressful, knowing i had my genuine ID unlike Christmas when i was using my brothers girlfriends! phewww!  being student night on a wednesday £1 shots, £1.50 flavoured vodka, £1.50 Vodka and a mixer, was a suuuuper cheap night, only spending £15!!! amaaaaazing!  to finish my birthday week im off to see Jessie J in Cardiff Castle for my brother and his girlfriends, summer works event! what an awesome night that's going to be :D

New Look Buy!

so i kind of feel like i havent treated myself for months! no really i havent bought anything personally since the january sales! my mam bought me my dipped hem aztec skirt from river a few months back and i bought a dress for holidays around the similar time.. such a sad life! so out of last weeks pay, i was treating my self, i kind of over spent, spending nearly all of my money in one day and mostly in wetherspoons... but anyway back to the purpose!  my baby cousins christening is coming up in may, and being a girl i needed something new for it! of course...   i saw this dress on the new look website, and when i saw the price of £29.99 i though ooh, a bit steep! but then realising that's what i would normally spend on a dress, its just i haven't bought one in so long!  this dress was a must on my to buy list and before it went out of the shops too! i ended up having to order it as they didnt have my size in store uless i dramatically lose about 7 stone and drop to a size 8, there wasnt no chance!  but it finally arrived wednesday, and i did order a size smaller.. and hey presto it fitted!! i felt like cinderella and the glass slipper :) what do you guys think of my buy? im loving some of the blazers in River Island at the moment, 'cause with our typical british weather, we could even have snow in may! better to be safe than sorry!

Right now im off up the mountain snack bar for the best breakfast in history!! see you later dudes :)
