seems as its the last weekend of january, i thought i would do a little review of first month in 2012.  i can't believe how fast this years going already!! started by celebrating my friends 18th + the arrival of my beautiful Krush shoes:)  my total addiction to my Model's Own Glitter Set! and my investments into Pastel Lip Paints.  a bitterly cold trip to Barry Island, and my beautiful findings in Primark! along with a new addition to the family "Sexy Bryn" Bryn for short...

it's fair to say i've had pretty good start to the year already, and i hope it holds out for the rest of the year! fingers crossed it will!  i've shockingly met my deadlines just in school.  but have my two 6 week exam papers looming... mehh!  i'll get myself through it by dedicating my evenings to Carrie and the gang ♥

Babyliss Wave Envy Review ...

I had the Babyliss Wave Envy for Christmas. I was dying to get my hands on it until I read some reviews of it acting more like a crimper than a waver.  But nevertheless, since Christmas day its been my best friend!  I don't go a more than 3days without using it.  it is very time consuming especially at 7:30am when your half asleep getting ready for school..  

would definitely recommend to friends, its so simple to use and lasts for aaages without dropping! & i've had so many compliments on it! i'm still trying to figure out ways of styling day to evening looks, but i'll have to let you know when i've experimented slightly more.  anyone got any tips on waving and curling?  my hairs a nightmare for holding curls on a night out :(

A-level take-over..

so this last week my life has been totally taken over by stitching, beading and draping! finally im starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel with only zip needing to be fitted tomorrow, and I will never have to look at this dress ever again!!  im so proud of it but so sick of it at the same time.  but nevertheless, the end of this project means the near start of my next project!  hopefully my blogging will pick back up once my projects finally out of my hands :)

river island spring wishlist..

oh my god!! im am in total love, envy, heaven.. I don't know what you wanna' call it. but the new RI Spring preview is definitely up my street!! Florals and pastel's are totally my thing, and when a season is full of them, im epically lovin' life!! yaay >.<  I absolutely love the Pink Print Maxi Skirt, I love the fresh pattern rather than a typical floral, & the colours seriously remind me of  "flower power" days!  I also love the deck chair inspired Blue Stripe Super Skinny Jeans.  I wouldn't normally even consider trousers like this but my opinions have totally changed!

i seriously can't wait to do my holiday shopping, even if it is 6 months away... Oh well, got to get excited over something :D

i've always been a very neutural with my make-up and never been daring enough to risk the bold lippy look!   Having red hair I find it difficult to find colours and tones to compliment my skin and hair together.  so, I "googled".  turns out you should stick to "bluey" toned lipstick when complimenting pale skin and red hair.

The BarryM 147 Peachy Pink doesnt follow the "bluey toned" rule, but mixed with my foundation and not applied straight to my lips hopefully it wont be too orange!!  im in loooove with the barryM 100 baby pink, such a pretty colour!  and toned down, it'll be such an everyday wear :D  my rimmel 086 sugar plum, was a definate impulse buy.  i never wear anything bolder than a coral pink, so to invest in a pink/purple was an uber risk which im still getting used too...

Barry in January?!

one true love..

Literally just this second finished my Welsh Bacc investigation and im loving life! such a massive weight of my shoulders, and I can finally focus on my core subjects! yay!!  So to share my joy I thought I would share with you my love of Paris ;) a little bit random I know, but I'm seriously craving it atm :(

look how pretty!!  ever since watching the final couple of episodes of Sex and the City, when Mr. Big follows Carrie to Paris to declare his undying love... omg, I need a Mr. Big in my life!! I have just fallen in love with the city and have been dying to go since.  Then I was watching The Devil Wears Prada the other night, and yet again pure jealousy and envy came over me.  Its such a beautiful city, so romantic, and so me! My plan is to literally save as much as my student loan in the next 3 years as possible, so I have a slight chance of visiting. Maybe even finding my Mr. Big? one can dream!

party like its 2012!

Live, Laugh, & Party! This is my moto for 2012,  this year is the year of 18th's, Magaluf, University and of course all this includes a lot of heels and alcohol!

This weekend was full of events and celebrations.  Friday night was filled with 80 minutes of obscenely hot rugby boys running around the pitch, yum!  Saturday spent in the rugby club, followed by an evening celebrating my friends 18th birthday! was such a good laugh :), and then the shots came.. woo!, not gunna lie im definitely partial to a shot or two, but when they taste of a Costa Coffee Berry smoothie, you can give them to me by the pint load!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARL! FINALLY LEGAL :D  sadly i have to wait until june to turn 18, but finger crossed it'll come just as quick as last years, with an art and a textile exam before then.

Luckily I controlled myself Saturday as I knew getting up to go to a family meal hungover wasn't exactly ideal! So feeling funky fresh unlike the birthday girl who was in little mess the night before, my celebrations carried on for my brother's 21st birthday! We had a lovely meal in the Chinese Restaurant, The Happy Gathering in Canton, Cardiff.  And of course a 21st Birthday couldn't pass with out a few embarrassing stories and the assistance of Asda's wonderful photo cake!

Such a hectic week  in school this week, got to finish constructing my dress for textiles and catch up on my art coursework, bye bye social life!  but looking forward to a movie night and a couple bottles of wine with Jodie Friday night, I'm gunna need it!!

Aqua by Aqua

I came across Aqua by Aqua, last Thursday.  Never heard of it before until I was browsing twitter and noticed Leigh-Ann Pinnocks tweet about Nicola McClean wearing the same dress she wore NYE.  The dress was one from Aqua by Aqua.  Most of the dresses were reasonably priced compared to what I was expecting them to be, with whole celebrity price tag 'unall, with the 3 dresses below in the sale and under £100!

These are 3 of my favourite dress I found!  the Cobra Mini Dress is the one the Leigh-Ann Pinnock and Nicola McClean wore, such a classic LBD!  I'm absolutely in love with this aubergine Rolf Dress, such a party dress with the sequinned sleeve and layered neckline! sooo pretty.  The Cobra Maxi Dress was a bit of an unusual pick for me.  The cut and shape of this dress would usually be to masculine for me, but the short front and the long back is just so eye-catching and unique, i couldn't not put it in my top 3!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

nearly a week since my last blog, isn't a good start to 2012!!

I think last year was definitely my year (one year had to be!) Seeing Olly Murs & Katy Perry in concert, T4 on the beach, passing my AS Levels, got a new job, learning to drive, passing my theory, passing my practical test!!! (which I still cant believe!) University offers and interviews, Party's, Christmas, and the beautiful new arrival of my baby cousin Miley-Grace, just made it in time for 2011! She's a beauty :D

Well besides the amazing arrival of Miley to finish and start off the new year!  My shoes came!!! I couldn't have been happier when they arrived, they're just so sparkly, eeeeeek!  shame the dress I ordered to go with them (last Tuesday) still hasn't been dispatched, when I need it for Saturday if not Sunday! meeehh. My friends 18th or my brothers 21st, still undecided.. hehee.  

I think i'm going to have a few new years resolutions this year, I never seem to stick to them, so by given myself several i'm bound to stick to one! finger crossed.

1. Be who I am and not who the people around me want me to be.

im sure so many people say this every year, and always end up moulding back to what someone else wants, but im fed up of not doing what I want to do.  Don't get me wrong I love my friends and family too bits, but when i just feel myself fading in the background not being noticed, it makes my feel so small and I want it to change!!

2. Get my Maga' 2012 body ready for my 18th!!

this resolution is an absolute must!! there is noway i'm lying on a beach next to my size 6 / 8 friends with love handles and bingo wings flying around the place! I will be a toned, comfortable and happy size 12 when i go away in june! i've only got myself to blame if i'm not..

3. SORT MY LANGUAGE OUT!

my language has been appalling recently, I found myself in the awkward situation of my 7 year cousin asking me what i said when i said the "F" word the other day! lets face she's not thick, she knows exactly what i said, but still its a bad example!! naughty elinor! 

4. Make decisions!

I'm completely hopeless when it comes to decision making, it takes my hours to decide which eyelashes to use in the morning! so when it comes to university, im in a complete pickle!! Glamorgan? Newport? Bristol? i have no idea!  Which car to get? What projects to do? What shoes to buy? and what dress i'm going to wear to which occasion? from epic life changing decisions to day to day meaningless decision, I need to sort it out! help me:D
